I’m Eleanor! East Midlands born, London shaped. I moved here at 21 to study fashion and, nearly a decade into my career, I’m still finding new ways to see myself. I’m the Buying and Brand Acquisition Manager at Glassette, where I look after all of our brands - sourcing new ones for the platform, curating the ranges we bring onto the site, and help identify future marketing opportunities for them. As I approach 30, I’ve become more aware of how differently people shape their lives through their surroundings and what they consume. Glassette is a constant source of inspiration for me in that sense - so much of my everyday ends up reflecting the brands and products and content we bring onto the site, and it continually shapes what I’m drawn to and want to explore further. From the latest snack I keep in my bag to how I reposition the lamps in my room, the artwork I choose to live with, and the skincare I rely on day to day - these small, considered choices quietly mirror the kinds of products and routines we champion, each one reflecting a different way of living.

With the longer evenings creeping in, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make my space feel lighter - and how to really make the most of the extra hour of daylight we’re about to get. My bedroom is south-facing (a luxury I don’t take lightly), so I’ve been quietly rearranging things to let the light move through the space more intentionally. It’s small shifts, but they make such a difference. Having a mirror - like this Dinsdale mirror -where it can catch the afternoon sun and bounce it into the corners of the room has completely changed how the space feels throughout the day. I’ve also been leaning into lighter-coloured bedding - a crisp white duvet cover with poppy-coloured wave from Domestic Science Home, paired with a green-striped base sheet from Secret Linen Store. I’m very into the idea that you don’t need a full new set to refresh a bed - just one new piece, like a striped sheet peeking out at the bottom, can completely shift the look. It’s less about redecorating, more about re-seeing what you already have - just with better light!

There’s a definite shift towards hosting at the moment - people are preparing their kitchens and dining spaces to spend more time with family and friends, and it feels like the perfect excuse for a seasonal refresh. Whether that’s investing in a few new pieces or simply giving everything a proper spring clean, there’s a real energy around the home right now. We’re seeing lots of colour come through in table linens (Rosie Dalia’s tablecloths are a highlight), alongside small but joyful updates - Kinfill’s tomato-scented surface spray (possibly confirming that yes, it is the year of the tomato) and new seasonal Spring veg tea towels from Amuse La Bouche. I love the idea of rotating these throughout the year - they’re such a simple way to mark the seasons and a gentle nudge towards eating what’s actually in season too.

This might be personal, but I can’t stop noticing how the aubergine / grape colour trend from fashion is quietly making its way into interiors. It’s richer than a neutral but still feels grounding. I keep coming back to the Completedworks tumbler - I’m not even sure I’d use it for drinking, but as an object it’s so beautiful. Very into pieces that sit somewhere between functional and sculptural.

Candles and diffusers that actually deliver - both in scent and in how they look in a space. Aíro’s mini orange-infused candles, The Muses London citrusy-spicy diffuser, and The Conran Shop crushed herbs candle all do this so well. Beautiful scents, but also containers you genuinely want to keep once they’re finished - which, for me, is the marker of a really good product.

Making more of an effort to eat lunch outside, even if it still requires a throw over my shoulders. There’s something about that first stretch of slightly-too-cold outdoor lunches that feels very optimistic. I love the throws from Ian Snow, and I’m newly obsessed with KeepCup’s bowls - they’re the perfect size for lunch, and the colours make them feel a bit more considered than your usual food container.
