Chelsea Flower Show is here. To celebrate, we've put together an edit that asks: what if flowers were interiors? The answer, it turns out, is rather beautiful.

Flowers as Interiors

Our weekly Nice Things Edit is a curated Monday round-up of what we’re loving right now. From our favourite pieces on Glassette to a recipe, a watch, a read, a place to visit, a restaurant, and a gift worth bookmarking.
Each week, every member of the Glassette team shares their current favourites, whether that’s new arrivals, pieces we’ve spotted trending, or timeless finds we can’t stop thinking about. Think of it as a weekly dose of joy, discovery, and design inspiration, handpicked by the Glassette team.

Nice Things This Week

For many survivors of domestic abuse, stepping into an empty social housing property can feel overwhelming rather than hopeful. This International Women’s Day, we speak to Furnishing Futures and Shame Studios about Roots, a collaborative rug collection grounded in healing, dignity and care. Each piece is inspired by the story of a woman supported by the charity, translating trauma-informed and biophilic design principles into objects that bring warmth, safety and belonging to a space.
In this conversation, they reflect on how design can support recovery, why the details of a home, from colour to texture underfoot, matter more than we realise, and how meaningful collaboration can turn beautiful objects into tangible change. Through Roots, the interiors industry becomes part of a wider ecosystem of support, helping survivors move from surviving to truly feeling at home again.

July Glassette Gift List

Our weekly Nice Things Edit is a curated collection of the pieces we’re currently loving every Monday. Each week, every member of the Glassette team selects their favourite finds, whether that’s exciting new arrivals, products we’ve spotted trending, or timeless pieces we can’t stop thinking about. It’s a moment for us to share what’s inspiring us, what we’re coveting, and what we think deserves a little extra spotlight. Think of it as a weekly dose of joy, discovery, and design inspiration - handpicked by the Glassette team.

Silver has a way of catching the light that feels both subtle and striking. A silver frame turns a print into something more than an image - it becomes a moment to pause for, a detail that draws the eye.
In this edit, we’ve paired our Glassette x Late Afternoon frames with prints we love - pieces that bring texture, warmth and personality to your home. Together, they balance simplicity with statement: modern lines with timeless shine.
Style them on a bedside table, lean them on a shelf, or layer them into a gallery wall. However you choose to place them, these frames and prints are made to make space feel thoughtful, intentional, and alive!

Lighting under £200, but far from ordinary. These are designs that do more than illuminate - they transform spaces with warmth, personality, and charm. The Portable Pierre Charpin Lamp by HAY (£105.00) slips seamlessly from table to terrace, while Josh Page's Block Lamp Base (£180.00) lends sculptural presence to any corner. For earthy elegance, the Hiko Lamp by Amanita Labs (£85.00) balances form and function. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to cast gentle light and unmistakable character.

Dan Crow, CEO, on Forest Gate & Leytonstone
I've lived in E7 for coming up on eight years, pretty much bang on the border of Forest Gate and Leytonstone, which is my excuse for being greedy and doing both. When I moved here, before the Elizabeth line, there was nothing. Now we have some great pubs, a wine bar that does coffee and bakes in the morning, and Tuesday night jazz above a social club.
The community and the green space were always here, and the housing stock is lovely, for the most part. I can walk or run for hours on Wanstead Flats without seeing a road.
Everything below are places I actually go.

My Neighbourhood with Glassette CEO Dan Crow

September Product Diaries

Summer 2026 is set to be a rollicking one for music, and album covers have been nothing to turn our noses up at either. From Charli xcx to Kelela and Madonna, we’re assured months of sound that is sonically riotous. But what would décor look like if left to the devices of the albums set to soundtrack the scorching weather? From vivid pastels to minimalist backdrops and landscapes with gritty edges, here’s décor fueled by this summer’s most anticipated releases – and the albums already setting the tone for the months ahead.

2026 albums as interiors

Dopamine Dressing, Dark Romanticism, and the Return of Maximalism. The 2026 Met Gala looks as the interior trends we're seeing right now. The theme was fashion as fine art, but every look told us something about the rooms we're craving right now.

Whether you’re refreshing the table with a new set of napkins or upgrading your toast with a butter dish, here’s our breakfast tableware edit. Add glass coasters, salt and pepper shakers, and gingham table linens and the little extras that pull it all together.

What’s your art taste? Not the one you say in galleries. The real one.
Maybe you’re quietly accumulating meaning. Maybe you want to touch every surface. Maybe film, food, fashion and art all blur into one big reference board in your head.
Are you driven by nostalgia, or by the thrill of something that makes people pause?
Do you place pieces instinctively, or does every work have to earn its wall?
Some people collect art. Some people build a point of view.
Which one are you?

For this Best of Lighting edit, we’re focusing on pieces that do more than just illuminate, they set the mood. Think soft, warm glows balanced with cleaner, clearer light: lighting that feels comforting.
The best designs strike that sweet spot between atmosphere and function. Together, they create spaces that feel considered, calm, and quietly uplifting. From sculptural pendants to understated table lamps, each piece has been chosen for its ability to elevate a room without overpowering it.

Best of Lighting

If Pantone’s Colour of the Year set the baseline, consider these its brighter counterparts.
Looking to SS26 fashion as an early reference point, interiors appear to be moving in the same direction: colour with more presence, less noise. Grape, Fuchsia, Lime and Flame Orange are saturated but considered, bringing depth, warmth and a lift to the home. Used as a single statement or paired for contrast, they’re the shades we’re watching for 2026.

2026 Colour Trends

Granny Core is having a moment - and it ties directly into Pinterest’s 2026 trend, Laced Up. A softer, sweeter, slightly nostalgic turn to interiors. Think ruffled lampshades, scalloped edges, embroidery, floral wallpaper and patchwork blankets that look like they’ve been collected over time.
Pinterest is calling it: comfort is cool again, and the look is all about layering - pattern on pattern, texture on texture. It’s cosy, and quietly confident.

For the one who treasures their daily coffee ritual - we’ve gathered a few pieces to make those moments even better. Thoughtful, easy pieces for someone who loves the simple, steady parts of the day and finds comfort in the everyday.
