Lily Long Oval Dish.

Stoneware dish made by hand from a slab of white clay. Shaped over a mould, cut and smoothed with a rubber kidney. Fired once when dry, painted by hand using stains and oxides and fired again to fix. The piece is then signed, waxed, and coated in a transparent glaze and placed back in the kiln for one final 1230 degree centigrade firing.
