In anticipation of Spring, Harlie has been collecting flowers from local florists and painting moments outdoors from memory from last year, with notably lots of burgundy tones emerging amongst a plethora of greens. The emergence of flowers popping up after the dormancy of winter demonstrates the awakening of nature and the promise of new beginnings with the lighter months to come.
A collection to remind us of what is to come, from cut flowers on the dining room table to wildflowers emerging under oak trees to lilypads floating in the pond - paintings to act as a reminder that there is so much coming to look forward to.
