Just opened at Burlington House (28 February - 19 April 2026), marking the largest exhibition of her work to date. Bringing together iconic paintings alongside brand-new works, the show is alive with bold colour, cinematic nods and cultural heroines, from Elizabeth I to Nicole Kidman, all seen through Wylie’s irreverent, deeply personal lens. Playful, sharp and unexpectedly moving, it’s the perfect antidote to grey days and a reminder that painting, first and foremost, is about feeling.

Now on at Tate Modern (27 Feb – 31 Aug 2026) and is shaping up to be one of the art events of the year. Spanning four decades of her practice, this landmark retrospective brings together more than 90 works, from iconic pieces like My Bed to powerful new paintings, sculptures and installations that trace themes of love, trauma, survival and creative rebirth. It’s raw, deeply personal and unflinchingly honest, a place to feel, reflect and be moved.

Mothering by Caroline Walker at Pallant House is a quietly powerful meditation on the intimacies and isolations of early motherhood. Through her cinematic, light-drenched paintings, Walker captures the unseen labour, tenderness and complexity of care - moments of feeding, holding, waiting - rendered with extraordinary sensitivity. It’s an exhibition that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant, inviting you to linger and look again at the domestic spaces and roles so often overlooked.

DakaDaka is bringing its Supra Sunday Roasts to Mayfair’s Heddon Street from 8 March, and it’s one to book now. The modern Georgian restaurant and natural wine bar is launching a traditional Supra - a lavish, communal feast rooted in Georgian hospitality - complete with generous sharing plates, flowing wine and plenty of ceremony. Expect endless courses, heartfelt toasts and a seriously joyful take on the Sunday lunch ritual, available every Sunday from 12–4pm (£45pp, with optional wine pairing).

The cult Peckham favourite has opened a huge new central spot (complete with a terrace), bringing signature snacks and drinks with it, plus a few new additions, including a dangerously good Parmesan-laden brioche. Glasses start at £6, the £5 “Forza Fiver” vermouth is reason enough to swing by, and with chilli mezcal martinis and slushies on the menu too, it’s shaping up to be the place for wine and a snack in Soho.

British Pie Week at The Three Horseshoes is back for its third year from 2–6 March, and it’s looking better than ever. Margot and Nye have invited some of the country’s best chefs to take over the kitchen, each bringing their own signature pie to the menu for one day only. Expect five days of seriously good pastry, with a different chef (and pie) revealed daily. Available for both lunch and dinner. One for the pie purists and the planning-ahead types alike.

Buck Meek’s fourth solo record, The Mirror (his second with 4AD), is a tender, quietly expansive listen, rooted in vulnerability but alive with curiosity. Created with longtime collaborator James Krivchenia, the album blends the kinetic warmth of a live band with an oblique electronic undercurrent, folding in modular synths, harp (courtesy of Mary Lattimore) and textural touches from Alex Somers. A founding member of Big Thief, Meek has always had a gift for turning the everyday into something luminous; here, he leans into duality and reflection, writing songs that feel intimate, searching and beautifully unresolved. One for slow mornings and long walks.

James Blake is playing a live set at Union Chapel to celebrate the release of his new album Trying Times (via Good Boy Records). Expect soaring vocals, stripped-back moments and that spine-tingling acoustics the venue does so well. An intimate way to hear the new record come to life.
