Product Diaries - May

Something that doesn’t happen every day: the chance to own a slice of Diane Keaton’s (very) extensive archive. Earlier this month, it was announced that New York-based auction house Bonhams will spearhead four auctions spanning May and June, offering up the late Academy Award winner’s personal archive. The sales will include everything from plush furniture and, no doubt, a killer selection of hats to red-carpet Gucci looks, artwork and trinkets collected throughout her lengthy on-screen career.

There’s a reason New York is known as the city that never sleeps. Of course, there are plenty of obvious spots to head to that never get old – Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, Coney Island, need we go on? But there’s nothing quite like recommendations from someone on the ground who knows where the best bars hidden in the nooks and crannies sit, where to get hot wings that always hit the spot, or the legendary restaurants where you’ll end the night having seen a star-studded face and having eaten a pizza you’ll be thinking about for days.
