I’m Eleanor! East Midlands born, London shaped. I moved here at 21 to study fashion and, nearly a decade into my career, I’m still finding new ways to see myself. I’m the Buying and Brand Acquisition Manager at Glassette, where I look after all of our brands - sourcing new ones for the platform, curating the ranges we bring onto the site, and help identify future marketing opportunities for them. As I approach 30, I’ve become more aware of how differently people shape their lives through their surroundings and what they consume. Glassette is a constant source of inspiration for me in that sense - so much of my everyday ends up reflecting the brands and products and content we bring onto the site, and it continually shapes what I’m drawn to and want to explore further. From the latest snack I keep in my bag to how I reposition the lamps in my room, the artwork I choose to live with, and the skincare I rely on day to day - these small, considered choices quietly mirror the kinds of products and routines we champion, each one reflecting a different way of living.

Spring always brings a shift in perspective for me - a kind of quiet reset. Lately, it’s less about grand reinvention and more about a subtle optimism creeping back in, shaping how I think about the months ahead and, in turn, how I want to live in my space. With a full calendar and a season of plans unfolding, I’ve found myself reconsidering what home needs to offer. When everything outside feels in motion, there’s a new weight placed on what you’re returning to. It’s no longer just about how a space looks, but how it holds you at the end of a busy day. Right now, I’m thinking about home as something to come back to with intention - a place that feels considered, calm, and genuinely worth returning to.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the kinds of pieces that quietly shape a space - the ones that feel as good to live with as they do to look at. We’ve recently added more of Gestalten’s books to the site, and they fall firmly into that category. They’re rich with ideas and references, but never feel overly worthy - just genuinely inspiring in a way you return to often. 'Stay Wild' has been a particular favourite. It’s the sort of book that gently fuels future plans - the places you start mentally bookmarking for later. But beyond that, these are the books I like to keep within reach: left open on a coffee table, not purely for display, but because they invite interaction. The kind people actually pick up, flick through, and talk about. Real inspiration, rather than something purely decorative. On a more practical note, I’ve also noticed a shift in how I’m approaching travel this year - a little more considered, a little more organised. I’ve been reaching for small things that make the process feel smoother: a Smythson notebook for capturing ideas as they come, a Hightide travel organiser that removes the usual last minute scramble. Nothing overly complicated, just thoughtful additions that make everything feel more intentional.

I've been thinking about the summer duvet problem. I love a layered bed (always have!) but I don't want to invest in a whole separate summer duvet. I have a lot of bank holiday plans this month, including a hen do I'm organising - a home dinner one evening, which I'm quietly treating as an excuse to make the table feel really special. I'm taking Yod dinner candles, and I'm looking into personalised napkins, because if there's ever a moment to lean into a little extra sentiment, it's this one. Also packing a Mosey Me bathrobe, because there will absolutely be downtime and I intend to honour it properly. And finally (and I realise this is niche) I've completely fallen for this Tilly Lock art print of men in top hats and stripes. It's so joyful and a bit absurd and I can't explain it further than that. Sometimes that's enough.
