Rosie Dalia is a London-based craft and design brand founded by Nikki Greengrass. After graduating from Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design in London, Nikki spent several years in India, working with craft communities across the country, forging a career in textile design, development and production.

Beginning with the areas that deeply resonated with her — Nikki wanted to bring the warmth and wonder of conversation and community around a dining table that is so intrinsic to the Indian culture.

Tapping into her vast network of makers and creators, Rosie Dalia employs highly skilled block-printers, glass-makers, weavers and hand-embroiderers. This poignant criss-crossing of cultures creates for specially crafted pieces that occupy pride of place.

Custard yellow and woven work because neither is trying to outshine the other. Similar in warmth, different in texture, they keep the eye moving. Custard brings the colour, woven brings the grain. Together they feel less like a pairing and more like a season, sunlit whatever the weather.

Texture Pairings: Custard Yellow & Woven

Architectural Digest has named it cathedral core: stained glass, moved out of the church and into the home. Designers are fitting it into bathroom windows, hallways and front gates. The reasoning is part nostalgia, part reaction. In a year when everything seems generated, people want something made by hand, the same way it was made centuries ago. Most of us are not about to re-glaze the hallway. Luckily the trend scales down. Amber tumblers, green carafes, a pink vase that catches the light at four o’clock. Here is what we’re buying.

Stylist and fashion writer Johanna Lager (@johannalager) lives and works here. We followed her through her Stockholm, from the bakery where her order never changes to a 1920s cinema with a night sky built into the ceiling. These are the places she keeps going back to, and the ones most visitors walk straight past.
With Magic Capture on Google Pixel 11 Pro, she gets the video and the stills in one go, and stays in the moment.

The supper club sits somewhere between a dinner party and a restaurant. You eat what you're given, at a time someone else has decided, usually next to people you've never met. What you get in return is a menu nobody had to make commercially viable: a chef testing an idea, a format that would collapse across a full service, food that arrives in the middle of the table because there's no other sensible way to serve it.
The 11 below run out of home kitchens, a decommissioned Victoria line carriage, a 200-year-old cotton mill on the River Goyt and a lakeside restaurant in the Cotswolds. Some seat 32 people four times a year. Some are built on the assumption that you're coming alone. Prices start around £30 and go to £140, and the only constant is that someone else has decided what you're eating.

Sir Paul Smith has been a shopkeeper since 1970, when he opened a room in Nottingham that traded on Fridays and Saturdays only. Fifty-six years later he still works the floor on Albemarle Street on a Saturday, which tells you most of what you need to know. His London is a small one, and it is walked. Bury Street for the galleries, Holborn for the Soane, Claridge's at Christmas, Covent Garden for a shop that sells enamel dustpans. It is the list of a man who has spent fifty years looking at things and deciding which ones are worth keeping.

The halls room is a known quantity. Magnolia walls, a single bed, a desk pushed under the window, a radiator with a mind of its own and a ban on anything adhesive. You get it for nine months and you cannot change a thing about it structurally.
What you can change is what you put in it. The list below is not about making a student room look like a shoot. It is about the small number of objects that make a rented box feel like yours by the second week, and that survive the move out, the house share in second year and the flat after that.

Every August, the same thing happens. Someone in your group finally confirms dates, everywhere is booked up, and you're left refreshing flight searches at 11pm wondering if it's too late. It isn't. It just means being smarter about where you look - and, this time of year, smarter about where everyone else already booked. Short-haul enough to book this week and fly next, without landing somewhere that feels like everyone else's holiday too.

Sitting somewhere between an introvert and an extrovert, the idea of travelling solo was something I both debated and fretted over. In 2023, a week after my birthday, I took the leap and headed to the sandy beaches of the Maldives. Three years on, it still feels surreal to type that sentence.

How to Travel Solo? Advice for Introverts and Extroverts!

Wedding lists have a habit of playing it safe. Twelve of everything, in white, to be used twice a year. This edit takes a different view: presents the couple will actually reach for. Glassware with some personality, a casserole dish that will outlive the marriage certificate's frame, a butter dish in a colour that starts conversations. Some are practical, some are purely sentimental, and some are great to bring out when you have guests over (we’re talking about the Magnum). Whichever you choose, it says you put real thought into it, and that's what makes a wedding gift meaningful.

A pairing that shouldn't work as well as it does, cherry and turquoise operate on pure contrast. Saturated warmth against electric cool, the richness of a deep red-toned cherry meeting the clarity of an almost Mediterranean turquoise.
Cherry anchors the combination, bringing depth, drama, and a sense of the deeply considered. Turquoise cuts through it with energy and lightness, stopping the whole thing from taking itself too seriously. Together they create something that feels simultaneously bold and balanced, the kind of colour story that looks instinctive but is anything but.

Dopamine Dressing, Dark Romanticism, and the Return of Maximalism. The 2026 Met Gala looks as the interior trends we're seeing right now. The theme was fashion as fine art, but every look told us something about the rooms we're craving right now.

There are the things you buy because you need them, and then there are the things you buy because they deserve to exist in your life. Megan Elizabeth makes the case for the latter - specifically, the cutlery drawer as the most quietly satisfying upgrade you're not yet taking seriously enough. From a brushed silver canteen with Parisian bones to vintage Laguiole sourced from the eBay gods, this is a celebration of the unsung heroes of the table: the daily tools that set the tone before a single dish arrives.

Napkins don’t need to remain as plain, folded squares placed beside a plate. With a little creativity, they can be twisted, tied, or sculpted into shapes that feel just as delightful as the meal itself. From simple knots and casual rolls to more intricate origami-inspired folds, napkins can instantly elevate the dining experience. They add a touch of artistry, charm, and personality to the table, making even everyday meals feel special. Here are a few ideas to style your napkins and bring extra joy to your table setting.

This moodboard gathers around the candlelit tables and weathered wooden interiors of a remote Danish village, as seen in Gabriel Axel’s Babette’s Feast (1987) - a world where austerity slowly yields to abundance and grace. We’ve chosen linen tablecloths, white ceramics, and glimmering silverware to capture a touch of that quiet, soulful hospitality for your home.
