Norfolk Whelks In Kimchi Sauce

Sea Sisters believe in making the humble whelk as popular as it is in Korea, so we have preserved this seaside delicacy with the flavours of Korea to create a delicious, spicy and bold taste experience. We recommend serving simply with steamed rice.

 

We are also delighted to have worked with textile artist Corissa Robinsonwho weaved beach-find rubbish from fishing nets into this beautiful piece of art that became the wrapper of our Kimchi Whelks. 

All our Conservas are hand made in small batches & lovingly packed in Dorset. 

Our craft cannery works with fish, molluscs and milk. This product therefore may contain fish and milk. For allergens see ingredients in bold.

Ingredients: Whelks mollusc (73%), kimchi (27%): chilli, daikon, garlic, ginger, gochu garu (Korean chilli flakes), organic apple cider vinegar, Cornish dried seaweed, sea salt.
