Founded by Julia H Figueroa, Nebulae Jewelry translates celestial concepts into handcrafted objects in recycled sterling silver. Its Bijoux de Table collection, French for "table jewelry", treats tableware as heirlooms in their own right: caviar spoons, seafood forks, napkin rings and an egg cup doubling as a candle holder, each shaped by fluid lines drawn from the spirals and gravitational patterns of the solar system. Handcrafted in small, limited series to minimise waste, every piece is designed to elevate everyday rituals and gatherings into something more considered.

Halloween is not, historically, an American invention. It started on the damp edges of Ireland and Scotland as Samhain, the night the old year ended and the boundary between the living and the dead went slack. America simply added sweets and a marketing budget. What follows is a list of places that take the night seriously, in their own ways. Some are loud. Some are candlelit. One involves a lot of drumming on a hill in Edinburgh.

Best Places in the World to Spend Halloween

Our weekly Nice Things Edit is a curated Monday round-up of what we’re loving right now. From our favourite pieces on Glassette to a recipe, a watch, a read, a place to visit, a restaurant, and a gift worth bookmarking.
Each week, every member of the Glassette team shares their current favourites, whether that’s new arrivals, pieces we’ve spotted trending, or timeless finds we can’t stop thinking about. Think of it as a weekly dose of joy, discovery, and design inspiration, handpicked by the Glassette team.
