Founded in Paris by Océane Buret, Les Objoies celebrates the emotional bond we share with objects. From an early age, Océane was drawn to flea markets, art, design, and fashion, developing a passion for unusual pieces with stories to tell. Today, she sources singular objects across France, Italy, England and beyond, guided by instinct and emotion.
Les Objoies curates poetic, timeless objects influenced by Art Nouveau, mid-century modern, and the 1970s. Sea- and nature-inspired forms meet unusual combinations, bringing character, warmth, and memory into interiors. Each piece carries a story, an invitation to re-enchant daily life.

In 1967, Anna Castelli Ferrieri designed a storage unit that didn't look like storage at all. Three stacking drums, a swivel base, doors that click shut with a satisfying half-turn. Kartell has barely touched the design since. Today it sits in bathrooms, nurseries and design museums with equal confidence. Book your hotel early, wear shoes you can stand in for eight hours, and leave a free morning for the IYKYK exhibitions.

Design Fairs Worth Planning a Trip Around

July, you've been a lot - but in a good way. Busy doesn't quite cover it, but here's what's stuck with me this month.
A reading room stocked entirely with queer literature, tucked inside an Aesop store. A cabbage (yes, a cabbage) baked and frosted until it passes for a cake. A cosy, intimate dark in Fitzrovia that's somehow fully booked on a random Thursday.
But the one that's properly stayed with me, a shoe shop in Shoreditch, about to go under, saved overnight because the owner's daughter put it on TikTok and the whole neighbourhood turned up for it. Community, doing what it does best.
So that's my July edit, a bit of design, a bit of food, a bit of "support your local shop or lose it." Exactly as a July edit should be.
