A book that makes disappearing from society feel oddly glamorous. A hotel suite so layered and atmospheric you briefly convince yourself you could move to Rome and spend your days sketching in cafés. Those sorts of things.

I suppose that’s always what I’m drawn to in the end - places and people and ideas that make everyday life feel more considered, more beautiful, more alive.
