A lockdown success story; interiors editor Eleanor Cording-Booth of the Instagram account @aconsideredspace and Alex John, lampshade maker and founder of Munro and Kerr, collaborated on a wavy lampshade experiment and the finished result was far beyond their expectations. The sought-after design is now owned by several high-profile clients and was described by writer Jo Rodgers in House & Garden as “the Nancy Mitford of lampshades”, and “the cult lampshade’’ by Naomi Smart in British Vogue. The wavy shades remain hand-made and hand-stitched in Alex's London studio, with a traceable supply chain and an unfaltering emphasis on attention to detail.
